CASSITANO is a well-proportioned stallion with a “sporty” look and significant presence; he was considered among the most handsome types at the Holstein stallion admission test in 2008. His most extraordinary movement was the reason for his purchase by Gestüt Tannenhof prior to the sales. His quality canter and aptitude for jumping was immediately noticed: constantly alert regardless of the phase, strong reaction and considerable strength and technique! His bloodlines for jumping are quite impressive, comprising DE CENTO, half-brother of CASADO, as well as the reputed international stallions, BRISCAR & CARTHAGO.
On the dam’s side, he descends from LADALCO, CARACAS and WATERMAN. His great grandam, WONNE VI, and the sire, KONINSPARK XX, produced the well-known stallion, KILIAN. The Holstein 2049 bloodline also produced the thoroughbred-cross stallion, FEUERBACK, and the internationally renowned showjumper, ILONA, ridden by Herman Schridde. CASSITANO descends from the direct lineage of the dam, ILONA.
Due to his many qualities: Strength, Supple gait, Energy, Excellent temperament, CASSITANO is interesting for breeding both jump and dressage horses. We also recommend him for breeding eventers.
